What Is the NASC Quality Seal?

The National Animal Supplement Council has worked since 2001 to raise the bar for companion animal supplements. The Quality Seal is only awarded to companies that pass its full audit process and it has to be renewed, not just earned once. Seeing it on a product means a manufacturer has been checked, not just trusted.

The Seal means we operate under a documented Quality Control Manual with standardized procedures at every stage sourcing, formulation, production. Consistency isn't glamorous, but it's what determines whether a supplement works the same way the tenth time as it did the first.

Compliance also covers labeling accuracy, including the caution and warning language recommended by the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine and the NASC Scientific Advisory Committee. NASC is a respected nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the quality, safety, and responsible labeling of animal health supplements. Following a thorough and independent audit, Vital Pet Life demonstrated compliance with the NASC's rigorous quality standards, including current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), labeling requirements, substantiated product claims, and adverse event reporting protocols.
